Diving the Vickery

We did a dive on the Vickery a schooner that sank in US waters in the thousand Islands. I brought my el cheapo camera to take a few photos.

As it turned out I forgot to turn the camera on at the surface. When I tried to turn on the camera on the wreck I remembered that my camera does not like to turn on at depth due to the pressure on the cheapo housing. That was it for any photos on the wreck. I did turn on the camera and we got a few photos on the surface both in and out of the water. Overall we had a good dive and nice weather. Our puppy Emsie seems to really like boating too! Christine came along to hang out in the boat while we did our dive.

The Vickery in in 120 ft of water and it is about 70ft to the top the bow. The stern and the rudder are at about 100ft. There masts have broken off this wreck and lie in about 150ft of water beside the wreck which we did not visit.
